AI Drives the Future: Global Experts Converge at 2025 World Intelligent Vehicle Conference
AI and the Future of Mobility in Focus at 2025 World Intelligent Vehicle Conference
On July 30, the 2025 World Intelligent Vehicle Conference kicked off in Chongqing, China, bringing together government leaders, global experts, and top industry players to explore the evolving intersection of artificial intelligence and automotive technology.
“AI-powered smart mobility is the future,” said Professor Jianwei Zhang, foreign academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering. Highlighting the convergence between intelligent vehicles and robotics, he noted that AI and robotics are now capable of fully automated battery disassembly—an increasingly important solution as new energy vehicles (NEVs) expand overseas.

Academician Qingquan Chen emphasized that the nature of vehicles is changing in the age of electrification and connectivity. To adapt, he called for the integration of motion, energy, and communication systems in vehicle engineering—powered by artificial intelligence—to enable seamless and intelligent interaction.
As AI reshapes the automotive landscape, this year’s conference underscored a shared global vision: cars are no longer just machines—they are becoming intelligent, adaptive platforms for mobility.
