BYD Accelerates Global Expansion: European Factory Launch Marks Milestone Victory Over Tesla

In a landmark moment for Chinese automotive innovation, BYD has officially launched its first European production facility, reinforcing its commitment to global expansion and solidifying its position as a serious challenger to Tesla on the world stage.

BYD Surpasses Tesla in European SalesAs of May 2025, BYD achieved a breakthrough in the European market with monthly sales reaching 10,199 units across 16 countries, outpacing Tesla’s 6,619 units for the first time.
