Some might remember the Geely Englon models, which even used the LTC London Taxi Company’s logo at that time.

Then, in 2012, Manganese Bronze Holdings declared bankruptcy, and in 2013, Geely acquired LTC and continued to export the classic Black Cab taxi models to the UK. Since 2017, LTC London Taxi Company officially changed its name to LEVC London Electric Vehicle Company and started to establish a global high-end new energy mobility layout.

Originally, many might have thought that Geely’s ambition was merely to export taxi models to the UK and seize the British taxi market. But it seems we all underestimated their plans. Just a few days after the May Day holiday this year, LEVC officially released its first “space-oriented” pure electric architecture: the SOA architecture (Space Oriented Architecture). Under this architecture, LEVC attempts to redefine the relationship between space and mobility.
